Making Ghosts

To say the fields are bloodsick is only the beginning.

Yellow jackets hang on thin chains like wind chimes
and ring venomous. In a town where no one dies,
you changed everything by dying. I can't blame you

for the brevity of things and yet—      Brother, come.
